Juli Tredwell
Foster Coordinator (unpaid)
Juli loves all things furry and creative! She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia in Visual Art and loves all animals, big and small. She's volunteered for 10+ years as a pet foster and in rescue administration. When she's not cuddling her two rescue dogs and her one, less loveable, rescue cat, she is sharing time with her husband and 2 grown sons.

I was born and raised in Georgia. For over 24 years I was an Aesthetician and Laser practitioner. I started doing TNR in the summer of 2015. I heard a feral kitten screaming in a storm drain inside an office park located in Monroe. As soon as I saw the kitten I provided it with food and water. Soon, I learned it had littermates and a feral Mom there too. Once the kittens were old enough, I started trapping them for TNR surgeries. I thought, I"ll just help this little family of cats, then I"ll be finished with TNR. Little did I know, I would not 'finish'. Come to find out, there are not a lot of people who do TNR and the demand was huge. Soon after finding out about TNR I attended a How to TNR class at Paradox spay neuter clinic. I helped start Monroe Community cat project. A group of volunteers did TNR within the city limits of Monroe. The group dissolved, but several of the volunteers kept helping me with TNR, fundraising, etc... I continued doing TNR in Newton and Walton county. I do not know how many cats I have TNR'd over the years. I have not always kept count. I do know the most cats I tnr'd in one year was 128. I have been very fortunate to have a lot of people support my efforts over the years. Without support, I would not be able to help all the cats I have. Bingo, silent auctions, 50/50 raffles, selling my stained glass, countless donations, lots of volunteer hours, make TNR possible. In my free time I enjoy traveling and doing Stained Glass. My husband and I have cats, 3 basset hounds and a Mastiff.
